TANZANIA

No mountain climbed has ever been easy

One foot forward, each step heavy

Leave your mark in footprints and breaths

I've lost count of all my rests

One step at a time, make it a mantra

The sunrise and set all part of the spectra

What success has come without struggle?

We've ventured out of our bubble

If not a metaphor, what is a mountain?

Perhaps a youth fountain?

We tread through life climbing boulders

Weights hanging from our shoulders

Sweat and tears and pain and fears

Aren't these all just souvenirs?

No mountain or altitude has stopped us going

We just have to keep on moving
